DEXA is strong for an occasional snapshot. It is less practical as a weekly habit due to cost, access, and radiation exposure considerations for frequent scanning.

If DEXA says 22%, your scale says 18%, and a photo model says 25%, you have not necessarily measured wrong. Each method:
